On or before your first day at work:

  • Complete the following paperwork and bring with you to HRS:
    • Direct Deposit (EFT) Authorization - Form available in HRS office (Russ 204). Please bring a deposit slip or voided check - for more information review Direct Deposit of Paycheck
  • Prepare to complete the following required paperwork in the Office of Human Resource Services by reviewing the following topics:

 

During your first week at work:

  • Obtain a PSU Photo Identification Card from the Ticket Office located in 109 Whitesitt Hall.
  • Obtain a Computing System Login, E-Mail account and GUS Pin from the Office of Information Services located in 109 Whitesitt Hall.
  • Review the Benefits Summary
  • Meet with your supervisor to review your position description.  Also establish goals for your 6-month review period.

During your first 30 days at work, the following topics should be reviewed with you by your supervisor:

  • Department­s Mission Statement
  • Department Budget
  • The Importance of Students
  • Timesheet Procedures
  • Department Specific Policies and Procedures
    • Health, Safety and Wellness
    • Workplace Violence
  • Familiarization with:
    • co-workers
    • facilities
    • procedures
    • processes
    • equipment operation

During your first 90 days at work:
