2+2 agreements serve to facilitate academic transfer of students from participating Community Colleges throughout Kansas in a vast array of majors offered at Pittsburg State University.

2+2 agreements layout a plan of study to complete your bachelor's degree after completion of an associate degree at your community college and an additional two years at Pittsburg State. As students progress successfully toward the completion of the Associate degree, this agreement will ensure the seamless transition of students into various baccalaureate degree programs at PSU.

Pittsburg State University accepts credit from all regionally accredited U.S. institutions and all Ministry of Education approved international institutions. PSU also accepts credit for prior learning, including but not limited to, military course credits evaluated by the American Council on Education, AP, IB, and CLEP examination credits.
