Indoor Facilities
The SRC has over 70 pieces of Strength/Fitness/Cardio equipment as well as 4 wood floor gyms that offer Volleyball, Basketball, Pickle Ball, Indoor Soccer and many other indoor games that they could be used for.
We have 10 treadmills and 13 elliptical/cross trainers. There are 12 bikes -recumbent and upright- as well as 4 spin bikes and 4 rowing machines. We also have a small Free weight and Dumbbell area.
There is a dance studio and upstairs as well as a walking/jogging track. Downstairs there is a lounge that has 2 table tennis tables and a sitting area where we have a large screen TV for viewing your favorite shows or to play the Wii/Xbox Kinect games. There is free WiFi thought the facility.

The Plaster Center offers the non-varsity athletic students the opportunity to have access to the varsity Weight room and track during specific hours during the semester. Please visit the hours of operation webpage for hours of operation for the Plaster Center.

Fall & Spring Academic Session Hours
Hours subject to change. CLOSED evenings of athletic events and other activities held at the Garfield Weede Building. Student Recreation Center policies will be enforced at the Plaster Center.
The Garfield Weede Building offers the non-varsity athletic students the the opportunity to access Racquetball Courts and a small dance/aerobics studio.
Racquetball Courts
Garfield Weede Building Racquetball Courts are open to students and staff when the Garfield Weede Building is open during the day. The Courts are also open in the evenings during the hours listed below.
Racquetball courts will be CLOSED during all HOME Volleyball and Basketball Games as well as academic, holiday breaks, and summer sessions.
The Campus Recreation departmetnt has recently added E-sports into our divisions! We have a wide variety of games that are played in 101 Horace Mann. The Esport Teams include:

SRC Facilities are reserved on a case by case request. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE 2 BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE.
The following times are available for PSU supported groups to reserve SRC space:
Outdoor Reservations
The Department of Campus Recreation oversees the reservation of all outdoor spaced that can be used for recreational activities on the campus of Pittsburg State University (PSU).
Activities/Groups without reservations are subject to removal.
Unauthorized groups must yield to the listed groups below.
PSU allows the reservation of outdoor recreation space for the groups in the following order of priority:
Any group charging any type of fee to participants while using this space MUST reserve the space through Campus Recreation.

If you would like to reserve space please download the Outdoor Reservation Form, fill it out and bring it into the Student Recreation Center during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. There are nominal fees associated with certain reservation types. These fees are listed on the reservation form.
These areas are not supervised; usages of these spaces are done at your own risk.
ALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE SO THAT FACILITIES CAN BE PAINTED OR DRUG FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE.
