Welcome to the PSU Phone System information page. Here, you’ll find FAQs and tutorials for using both university desktop phones and software (soft) phones.
PSU’s current phone system was implemented in 2024 to replace our previous system, which, while reliable, had reached its end of life, leaving it vulnerable to social engineering and other risks. The new system is modern, secure, and built to reliably support PSU for years to come!

Special Note on Changing Networks:
Anytime that you move networks (ex: from campus to home), the Avaya Workplace soft phone will require you to login to the application again. (Ex: From campus to home, from campus to hotel, etc)
As a reminder, if you are not on the PSU campus network, you will also be required to login to VPN to access Avaya Workplace software.
