Direct admission programs are rapidly expanding and increasing in popularity as more forward-thinking colleges look to provide students and families with a simplified process. Doing so reduces barriers to high school students pursuing a higher education.

High school seniors who meet the criteria for enrolling at Pitt State will immediately be notified of their admission and of the next steps for enrolling in the fall. Students who meet the criteria can see if they’ve been accepted, receive a scholarship offer, access detailed information about the institution, and initiate the enrollment process.

“This partnership creates a great opportunity for high school students across the country,” said Karl Stumo, vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Pittsburg State University. “We look forward to seeing enrollment numbers grow as a result of this program offer to students.”
