Economics Club

The Economics Club at Pittsburg State University was formed in 2018 by Kelce faculty and students in order to promote activities that foster the intellectual and career development of students interested in economics. The Economics Club is run by the students who elect their own officers and is supported by faculty advisors. The club is brand new and offers a great opportunity to students to make it into something special that they can call their own and leave a lasting legacy to future Pitt State students.

The primary purposes of the club are to foster faculty-student interaction and raise career awareness by hosting guest speakers and traveling to visit firms and other places of interest near and far. These activities provide students with invaluable real-world insights into the career opportunities, firms, and industries related to the field of economics. The club also provides opportunities for having fun and generating excitement about the world of economics.
