The Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University proudly established the Center for Professional Selling. The Center for Professional Selling provides students with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that prepare them for successful careers in professional sales. The center aims to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world application by connecting students with industry partners, fostering professional development, and promoting relationship-driven selling practices. Through competitions, corporate engagement, and advanced sales training, the Center for Professional Selling enhances student marketability, supports regional business growth, and strengthens Pittsburg State University’s commitment to applied business education.

Professional Sales Advisory Board

The Professional Sales Advisory Board (PSAB) for the Center for Professional Selling at Pittsburg State University connects students with industry professionals to ensure the sales curriculum aligns with current practices and evolving market needs. Board members provide strategic insight, real-world perspective, and guidance that helps prepare students for successful careers in professional sales.

Brook Arnold - Vice President and General Manager of KOAM News

Brook Arnold is Vice President and General Manager of KOAM News. KOAM is owned by Morgan Murphy Media, a family-owned journalism company providing news, weather, and entertainment on-air, on-line, on-social and on-streaming. Before Brook Arnold joining KOAM in 2021, Brook spent 18 years and held several  positions, from Intern to Account Executive to General Sales Manager, at a dominant NBC affiliate in Indiana. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Brook graduated with honors from Butler University in 2004 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing. 

Her love for journalism quickly turned into a love for the people in journalism. She holds a Master of Business Administration & Human Resources from the University of Southern Indiana and is a graduate of the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Training program. She has dedicated the last decade to creating healthy cultures, developing leaders, and instilling work life balance for her teams. Outside of the office Brook serves on the Connect to Culture Board and Kansas Association for Broadcasters Board. Her hobbies include music, yoga, reading, running, and traveling with her family. She is married with two children. Her favorites are ice cream and wine. She is a believer in positivity and grace. 

Zach Boehme - Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, WATCO

Zach has oversight of all sales efforts for Watco’s short Zach Boehme line railroads in North America. He was promoted to his current role after joining Watco in 2022 as Vice President of Rail Sales. Zach began his railroad career in 2013 as a conductor for the Toledo, Peoria & Western Railway, a Genesee & Wyoming short line, and over the next nine years held roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to hi­­s time in the railroad industry, he worked in the agribusiness sector for an independent seed company. Zach was named to Railway Age’s 2022 Fast Trackers list for the top 25 railroad professionals under the age of 40. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Illinois-Springfield and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from Pittsburg State University. 

Zach resides in the Joplin, MO area with his wife and two sons.
 

Nick Brandecker - Sales Director, J2 Health

Nick Brandecker is the Sales Director at J2 Health, based in Lee's Summit within the greater Kansas City Nick Brandecker area. He earned his degree from Pittsburg State University, where he double majored in Finance and Marketing and completed a minor in Mathematics from 2012 to 2016.

During his time at Pitt State, Nick was also a member of the university’s baseball program (2013–2016), an experience that helped shape his competitive drive, leadership skills, and team-first mindset. Today, he brings that same discipline, strategic thinking, and relationship-focused approach to leading sales initiatives and driving growth at J2 Health.

Lizzy Jeronimus - Senior Specialty Sales Representative, Amgen

Lizzy Jeronimus is a student athlete that graduated with her bachelor's degree in Business Administration Lizzy Jeronimus in 2015 and completed her MBA in 2017. She was one of the first students to attend a semester abroad for her master’s degree in La Rochelle at Groupe Sup de Co. Lizzy played basketball from 2011-2015 and then joined the track team in 2016 to throw javelin. She was involved in FCA and was a graduate assistant for the Pitt State Athletic Department. 

Lizzy started her career in pharmaceutical sales in 2017. She is a Senior Specialty Sales Representative for Amgen. She was recently selected to be part of Amgen’s Management Development Program.

Aaron Kolich - Senior Account Executive, Universal Registered Agents

Aaron Kolich is a Senior Account Executive at Universal Registered Agents. Aaron Kolich Previously, he spent 11 years in the employee benefits arena as an independent insurance agent and financial advisor. Aaron was a student at Pittsburg State from 2008 - 2013, completing his bachelor's degree in 2012, and his MBA in the fall of 2013. During his time at Pittsburg State he was a member and co-captain of the Gorilla football program, helping his team win the National Championship in 2011.
After graduation, Aaron returned to his hometown of Kansas City where he met his wife, Amy, a few years later. Fast forward to today, Aaron and Amy have two boys, ages 4 and 2. In addition to keeping up with the littles, Aaron enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, golfing, fishing, and during football season you can find Aaron back on the field as a collegiate football official.

Zach Perez - Strategic Account Executive, FlutterFlow

Zach PerezZach Perez is a Strategic Account Executive at FlutterFlow, where he partners with large enterprises to modernize their digital experience layer and accelerate application delivery. He began his career in California, where he spent seven years selling capital medical systems and software before returning to Kansas City. A fourth-generation Pittsburg State University graduate, Zach earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2009 and previously served as a Campus Visitor Coordinator. He is also the Founder & CEO of QuotaProof, a platform focused on verified performance and credibility for sales professionals. Born and raised in Southeast Kansas, Zach is passionate about elevating the profession of selling and sharing his sales experience with the next generation of students across the region. He lives in the Kansas City area with his family.
