The Department of Biology would like to thank all those who have been so generous with their contributions. Your contributions help us provide quality education, educational opportunities, and financial assistance to those seeking an education through the Department of Biology.
Areas of need include scholarships, equipment, and the general fund. You may also contribute to other Biology areas of your choosing.
To make an online contribution to Biology, please use this link to contribute online. You will be taken to the Pittsburg State University Foundation Online Gifts form. You will need to specify the fund College of Arts and Sciences and then select Biology. Please list the area of your choice in the Comments box. If distributing your donation across multiple Biology areas, please indicate the area followed by the dollar amount (i.e. General Fund $100, Scholarships $200). You will need to complete the remainder of the form.
If you would prefer to mail your contribution to Biology, please download the Department of Biology Contribution Form to print out, complete, and mail.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match all or a percentage of any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees, retirees, and/or spouses. Check with your company about its matching gift policy or use our Double the Donation Matching Gift Database to find out if your company participates. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest.
You can give a gift to the Department of Biology in a variety of forms, including cash, in-kind gifts, planned giving, securities, real estate, trusts, life insurance, and bequests. You might even work for a company that will match your gift to Pittsburg State University, thereby increasing your contribution. Gifts to Pittsburg State are tax deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code. To learn more about making a gift, please contact Mary Jo Meier, Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences, at 620-235-6127 or by e-mail.
Again, thank you for your generous contributions.
