Fall 2014 Closing

Pittsburg State university Residence halls close at 10AM on Saturday, December 13 for the Fall 2014 semester.

NOTE: The University Housing Office will be closed from December 20 - January 4 for the winter break.  University Housing Office will reopen Monday, January 5 at 8AM.


2015-2016 Academic Year Housing Contracting will begin online Wednesday, February 4, 2015 after 10AM.

Attention new students coming to Pitt for Spring 2015!

Housing contracting for new students arriving for Spring 2015 is now available.  Click the "Apply Here" logo below and select the "Spring 2015 only" contract option.  Complete contract as instructed.


If you have contracted for Spring 2015 Housing, your room assignment will be emailed out after Friday, January 2, 2015.  Watch this website for more information.


Residence Halls open for Spring!

Residence Halls will open for Spring 2015 semester on Sunday, January 11 at 10AM.  Students can check in between 10AM - 10PM on January 11 at your assigned hall  Gibson will reopen at 4:30PM on Sunday, January 11.

The Department of University Housing maintains and oversees Pittsburg State University's residence halls. University Housing provides safe, attractive, and comfortable residential facilities and a well balanced, attractive, food service program, both competitively priced.

The residence halls provide an environment which enhances students intellectual and social development. Each building is staffed with student oriented professionals and paraprofessionals. Summer programs include housing for students, camps and conferences requiring campus housing.


The mission of University Housing is to support the university community by providing a comfortable, developmental living and learning environment for students.
