Major in Family and Consumer Sciences with an Emphasis in Child DevelopmentShape young minds with the Child Development emphasis. This emphasis prepares individuals to work with children ages birth-8 in a variety of programs within the community.
Students can tailor the program to fit their needs by selecting electives to match their professional goals. Additionally, all childhood development students will choose a minor that meets their interests and career goals. Suggested minors include but are not limited to:
Little Gorillas Preschool
Students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities with young children at our NAEYC-accredited preschool on campus.
