Advocacy Services

Pittsburg State University collaborates with Safehouse Crisis Center Inc. to provide a full range of services to survivors of domestic or dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual harassment, including:

  • 24-hour Crisis Hotline: (800) 794-9148
  • Crisis Text Line: (620) 670-0754
  • Crisis Intervention Advocacy (available 24 hours a day)
  • Individual Supportive Counseling
  • Victim Support Groups for Domestic & Sexual Violence
  • Temporary Emergency Shelter

Additionally, PSU's Program Coordinator of Advocacy Services and Wellness Education, located in the Bryant Student Health Center, is available to refer survivors of domestic or dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual harassment to campus and community resources.

Students, faculty, staff, and community members may report dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, or other forms of sexual misconduct to the University's Title IX office in the Sexual Harassment Reporting Form.
