Our Athletics Director, Jim Johnson, has organized an adventure with President Dan Shipp, golfing with Gorillas across the Four States.
His goal? To raise $3 million for the Silverback Fund. It provides resources to recruit and retain quality student-athletes. Stay tuned for the event schedule and registration details!
Alumni & Constituent Relations is hosting After Hours across the Four States throughout the summer in celebration of Dan Golfs the Four States. During the After Hours, enjoy food and drinks, network with fellow Gorillas, and experience the progress for the Silverback Fund. Register today!

Advanced Training Facilities
Pitt State builds state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to student-athletes. They train on first-rate equipment for optimum strength and conditioning regimens and practice in MIAA-standard environments.
Addition of Women's Soccer
This is the first women’s sport we’ve added since 1986 and will bring 25 to 30 competitive student-athletes to Pitt State who would not otherwise enroll here.
The Silverback Fund
The Silverback Fund is a unique chance for Pittsburg State alumni, friends, and fans to make a direct and meaningful impact on the academic achievement of our student-athletes.
No student-athlete receives 100% athletic scholarship support. Show your Pittsburg State pride by lifting the burden of academic costs for these outstanding Gorillas and helping them achieve success on the field and in the community.
