President offers condolences on news of student death

The news that student Brandon L. Smith died this week in a single-vehicle car accident has saddened the Pittsburg State University campus.

Smith, a Pittsburg native, was a senior construction management major.

“Our hearts go out to Brandon’s family and his many friends,” said PSU President Steve Scott. “To lose a child at any time is tragic, but to do so at this time of the year is especially painful. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.”
