Turtles the topic of Audubon program

Ken Middick, a master naturalist with the Wildcat Glades Audubon Center in Joplin will present a Sperry-Galligar Audubon Society program, “Turtles!” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, in 102 Yates Hall on the Pittsburg State University campus.
Middick will talk about the native turtles in the Four-State area, their life cycles, habitats, needs and efforts to help them survive habitat destruction, a thriving pet trade in Europe and a changing climate.
