Parking reminders - Thursday, Sept. 1

-- The first home football game of the season is Thursday, Sept. 1

-- The Brown Lot near Carnie Smith Stadium and the Brown Lot west of the Weede will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 1 p.m. Thursday, at which point they will open for tailgating.

-- Students and faculty who normally use these lots will be asked to park in either the Bicknell Center parking lot or the varsity softball parking lot in the Bicknell Sports Complex during that morning.

-- Two game-day express shuttles will be added on Thursday. These buses will transport passengers directly from the Bicknell Center and varsity softball lots to a designated stop in front of Axe Library from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

-- If the Bicknell and softball lots are full, students and faculty should park in the baseball lot and walk over to the softball lot to catch the shuttle. The shuttle will not pull into the baseball lot, as that would add significant time to the route.
