Orientation helps new faculty prepare for classes

Twenty-eight new faculty are getting a crash course on all things Pittsburg State in advance of the opening of a new academic year.

Provost Lynette Olson hosts the annual training for new faculty, which is conducted by PSU’s Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology. The training began on Monday, Aug. 15, and concludes on Tuesday, Aug. 16. The new faculty members learn about the history and culture of PSU, resources on campus, the university’s focus on student success, faculty research and the Canvas learning system.
