Illness claims associate professor

It is with a heavy heart that we inform campus of the death of Mike Neden, associate professor in Technology and Workforce Learning. Mike died Monday, July 4, after a short illness.

“To Mike's family, I offer the condolences of the entire campus, and I would ask faculty and staff to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks and months,” said PSU President Steve Scott. “Mike was one of the most visionary and innovative members of the campus community. His commitment to our students and his discipline were unmatched. His passion for the university and his many contributions will be missed. Most importantly, we will miss his friendship.”

Visitation and services will be held at the Carthage First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage, Mo. Visitation will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 7.
