Pittsburg State University is cleaning out the attic this week in anticipation of the university’s annual spring sale, which begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, in the parking lot at Ford and Joplin streets on the PSU campus.
“It’s surprising how much can accumulate over a year as renovations take place and equipment and furnishings are updated,” said Tonya Pentola, who oversees the annual sale for PSU’s Physical Plant.
This year, there are the usual items, including commercial lighting, custom cabinetry, filing cabinets, desks, tables and doors. What makes the sale fun and interesting, Pentola said, are some of the miscellaneous and vintage items that find their way to the sale.
“You just never know what you’re going to find,” Pentola said.
The sale is expected to conclude by 3 p.m. For more information, call Pentola at 620-235-4780.
