Opera lovers in the Four-State region will have an opportunity to hear some of the brightest rising stars in the opera world when the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts at Pittsburg State University presents “MET Rising Stars” at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18.

For more than 125 years, the Metropolitan Opera has been the artistic home for some of the greatest singers in the world. It is also the launching pad from which opera stars of the future begin incredible careers.

The MET Rising Stars performance brings members of the Met’s young artist program to the stage in communities around the country.
