Naccarato honored as top young professional

One of the youngest members of the Pittsburg State University leadership team will be among a group of young professionals honored next month for their career success and contributions.

Shawn Naccarato, Pitt State’s executive director of the Center for Innovation and Business Development and director of government and community relations, was recently named a recipient of the Joplin Regional Business Journal’s 15 Under 40 Award. The 15 Under 40 award is a recognition that the Journal gives to honor young professionals who are making a name for themselves in the world of business.

Naccarato, 36, has served as director of government and community relations since 2011. He was named executive director of the Center for Innovation and Business Development in March 2014.

"It's a wonderful honor to represent Pittsburg State University in this year's 15 Under 40 class,” Naccarato said. “The talent within our region's young professionals community is very strong, and I congratulate not only my fellow recipients but everyone who helps makes our region a great place to live and work."

The Journal will recognize this year’s 15 Under 40 class during a special dinner ceremony on Aug. 20. A full list of this year's award recipients is available at https://jrbj.biz/news/single/judges-select-honorees-for-annual-15-under-40.
