PSU plans annual garage sale

It's not your typical garage sale. While Pittsburg State University's annual garage sale on Saturday, April 25, won’t have any baby clothes or collectables from grandma’s curio cabinet, shoppers can find some bargains among some more substantial items.

The annual sale runs from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at PSU’s Physical Plant garage, 304 E. Lindburg.

Tonya Pentola, supervisor for the storeroom, recycling and general services departments in PSU’s Physical Plant, said landlords and anyone doing home remodeling will want to check out what’s available at the sale.

“We have lots to offer including custom cabinetry, desks, file cabinets, doors, chairs, library card cabinets and lots of miscellaneous items,” Pentola said.
