The Well Reds to perform at PSU

The Well Reds, an up-and-coming Alt-Pop Rock quartet from Atlanta, Ga., will perform at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, in Pittsburg State University’s Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. The free performance is part of the Student Activities Council series.

The band describes its music as “thoughtful, consciously aware pop music” with “tight vocal harmonies, diverse instrumentation, and a melodic sensibility that allows a new listener to feel familiar from the start.”

A critic with Daily Unsigned, a website devoted to new music discovery, wrote that the group has “taken all their life experiences and inner energy and combined them to create songs that are so relatable that they grab at your heartstrings while stimulating your brain stem.”

The group’s hard work, playing everywhere from outdoors under a tent to sold-out auditoriums, is paying off and their fan base is growing rapidly.

Members of the group are Jeremy Ezell: vocals, piano and guitar; Sean Crawford: vocals, lead guitar, keyboards, programming and production; Rex Crawford: bass and backing vocals; and Torin Degnats on drums.
