Solo & Chamber series continues with Lorelei Ensemble

The 2014-15 PSU Solo and Chamber Music Series continues on Friday, Nov. 14, with a performance by the highly acclaimed Lorelei Ensemble.
Founded in 2007, Boston’s Lorelei Ensemble is a chamber vocal ensemble dedicated to the performance of new and early music for women’s voices. In performances across the U.S. and abroad, the group has earned a reputation as an innovative and influential force in ensemble singing.
The ensemble’s mission statement commits the group to “a fresh and culturally relevant repertoire.”
The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Sharon Kay Dean Recital Hall, located in McCray Hall, 205 E. Lindburg, on the PSU campus. Tickets are $12 for the general public and $8 for persons over 65 or under 18. Full-time PSU students are entitled to a free ticket. Tickets are available in advance through the University Ticket Office in the Weede Physical Education Building, 1701 S. Homer, 620-235-4796, or at the door prior to the performance.
The Solo and Chamber Music Series is supported by major funding from the PSU Student Government Association.
