The sixth annual Midwest Trumpet Festival, Oct. 12-13 at Pittsburg State University, brought together some of the top trumpet teachers and performers in the U.S. Festival Director Todd Hastings, a member of the PSU Department of Music faculty, said the two-day festival is a mixture of continuing education sessions, master classes, recitals and concerts.
“The festival is a rare opportunity for students to learn from some incredible teachers and performers and for the public to hear them in performance,” Hastings said.
