The Black Student Association at Pittsburg State University will host a candlelight vigil and remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the U-Club of the Overman Student Center.
Students will read from some of Dr. King’s works and students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to share their thoughts on King’s legacy and his importance to society, the community, the campus and to each speaker, personally.
