PSU Wind Ensemble presents concert for the season

People wishing to get into the holiday spirit might get the jump start they need by joining the Pittsburg State University Wind Ensemble for a concert and a festive sing-a-long at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Pittsburg’s Memorial Auditorium.

According to Director Craig Fuchs, the free concert will begin with a selection of music from Latin America. The second half of the program will be devoted to a range of music for the holiday season.

Following the concert, the audience is invited to join the ensemble in the auditorium lobby for cookies, cider and a traditional sing-a-long.

“It will be a warm and festive atmosphere,” Fuchs said. “We hope lots of people join us to celebrate this special time of the year.”
