PSU screens family movie on the Jungletron

Area families will have an opportunity to watch a movie on the biggest screen in Pittsburg, Friday, when Pittsburg State University’s Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations hosts a free showing of Disney’s “Wreck it Ralph” on the Jungletron in Carnie Smith Stadium.

“This is our way of saying ‘Thank you,’ to the community and the wider Pitt State family,” said Johnna Norton, director of the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations.

Stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and the movie will begin at 7 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on. No coolers or alcohol is allowed in the stadium and no food or chairs are allowed on the field. Food and drink will be permissible in the stands, however. Adult supervision of all children is required.

For information, call the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations at 620-235-4758.
