Hundreds of students converged on Pittsburg State University’s Willard Plaza Monday evening to celebrate the coming end of the spring semester. Spring Fling, billed as the last big bash before finals and the end of another academic year, was sponsored by the Student Activities Council, the Residence Hall Association, ROTC, Sodexo and the Office of Student Diversity.

Organizers said the event is intended both to celebrate the end of the semester and also to give students a break from the stresses associated with final exams and projects.

Activities included giant inflatables, games, music and even break dancing lessons.

The spring semester officially ends on Friday, May 11, with commencement ceremonies on May 11 & 12.
