Brian Moots


About Dr. Brian Moots

Dr. Brian Moots is an Associate Professor of French and Spanish. He joined the PSU faculty in August 2015. Dr. Moots has received numerous awards and fellowships, including a Boursier d’été from the University of Geneva, the Springer Fellowship, and the Mahieu and Cornell Scholarship for archival research in London and France.

Areas of Interest

French theater; Renaissance and Reformation literature and culture

Dr. Moots enjoys traveling the world, eating long meals with strange foods, playing with kids, practicing piano (which he’ll never master), and spending lots of time at home with his family.
