This scholarship is open to U.S citizens (or residents) who are full-time students. Undergraduate students and graduate students can apply.
The Explore the World Travel Scholarship awards 15 $2000 scholarships to U.S. citizens who can demonstrate financial need. Open to undergraduates and graduates.
The application deadline is October 25, 2024 for travel between March 8, 2025-August 15, 2026.

Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship awards 2 $1,000 scholarships to U.S. citizens who are full-time undergraduate students applying to a credit-bearing program.

WorldStrides offers three scholarship opportunities: Higher Ed Traveler, Diversity & Inclusion, and the Natalie Shea Memorial Scholarships.
Your faculty-led program must be operated by Worldstrides to be eligible.

Eligible PSU students can receive a study abroad stipend (aka-free money!) from the Office of International Programs and Services if they apply by the application deadline.
Eligibility requirements:
The amount of the Study Abroad Stipend varies depending on the number of credits associated with the program, the total cost, and the duration of the program. After the Study Abroad Committee approves a PSU student to study abroad, the Committee will also award the stipend amount.
You may be eligible to use the scholarships that you are currently receiving at PSU while you study abroad. Please contact Jamie Rink in the Office of Financial Assistance to find out more.
