History of the Kansas and Paraguay Partnership

The Kansas Paraguay Partnership (KPP) was created in 1968, along with its Paraguayan counterpart, the Comité Paraguay Kansas (CPK). PSU has offered classes in Paraguay through PSU in Paraguay since 2005. Paraguayan students pursue their degrees at PSU and PSU students are able to study abroad in Paraguay. The history of cooperation between the Republic of Paraguay and the State of Kansas fostered by the CPK and KPP make the expansion of cooperative programs between PSU and Paraguay an attractive opportunity for students and faculty.

"What I liked the most about the program was the environment. Always talking about interesting topics and everyone were thinking and telling their opinion to start a debate, was really educational sharing knowledge with each other. I'm really grateful." - Giorgio Soto

"My favorite part of the class was how hands-on it was. I really managed to practice the techniques taught in class and that allowed me to internalize them." - Renato Soverina
