Students take courses from experienced faculty and learn successful strategies to create their own fiction and poetry. Students also analyze fiction and poetry of other writers to determine how they create successful work.
Student Literary Magazine
At Pittsburg State, we believe in learning by practice. Our students can contribute to the university's student literary magazine, The Cow Creek Review. They can also be a part of the staff that reviews pieces, creates the design, and prepares the magazine for publication.
