Employee Meal Plans

Pitt State employees can purchase meal plans for Gibson Dining Hall at a discounted rate. Two packages are available:

1. Crimson - 25 meals for $225 ($9 each) – 25% discount on retail price
2. Gold - 50 meals for $400 ($8 each) – 33% discount on retail price

Important points:

• Tax will be charged on all meal plans. 
• Each year, employees can opt into payment via payroll deduct over four pay periods. For fall 2026, the deadline for signing up for payroll deduct is November 2 and the first deduction is taken in the November 20 pay period.
• Employees can buy a plan any time using credit/debit card. A 3% fee is charged for all credit/debit card transactions.
• Meals are applied to employees' Pitt State ID cards, which will be swiped in Gibson to deduct the meal. It takes up to 24 hours for meals to appear on the card/account. 
• Meal plans expire at the end of the fiscal year, and remaining balances are forfeited. 
• Balances can be tracked in the Pitt State mobile app.
• A card can be swiped multiple times at one meal, so guests are welcome.
