Areas of Interest

Research Interests
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), including incorporating technology, has been a focus of my research most of my career. Currently, Dr. Woestman is doing more work on the Common Core [http://www.corestandards.org/]. Dr. Woestman is also a student of the U.S. Presidency having written her dissertation on Harry S Truman and the creation of the post-presidency.

Service Interests
The Archivist of the United States appointed Dr. Woestman to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Electronic Records Archives of the National Archives and Records Administration [https://www.archives.gov/era/acera]. Dr. Woestman was elected to several offices in the international organization, H-Net Humanities and Social Sciences Online [http://www.h-net.org] and has been active in other regional and national historical and educational organizations.
