Students majoring in Graphic Communications at Pittsburg State University came home from the 2025 American Advertising Awards, or ADDY Awards, with 32 medals.
Created as an opportunity to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising, the ADDYs have become the industry’s largest and most respected competition.
Earning an ADDY can open professional doors for students and make them extremely attractive to recruiters.
Of the 122 student entries from across the region, Pitt State students captured seven gold, 22 silver, two special judge’s awards, and one best of show. One professional silver ADDY was awarded to Professor Rion Huffman for photos.
A winner’s book produced by Pitt State Graphic Communications features all professional and student winners and can be viewed here.
