Early bird ticket sales begin on Sept. 9 for The Addams Family

Early bird ticket sales for the national tour of the Broadway musical “The Addams Family” will begin on Sept. 9. The show will stop in Pittsburg at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts for one night only on Feb. 22, and will bring out the wackiness in every family!

Early bird pricing goes until Oct. 1. Prices will start at $61, $68, and $75. There will be no discounts for these prices since they are already 15 percent off.

After Oct. 1, ticket prices will go up. Starting at $72, $81, and $89. There will also be a 10 percent discount for PSU students, children, faculty and staff, first responders, and military.

On the heels of Wednesday, the third most-watched show on Netflix of all time, it is a devilishly delightful musical comedy based on the creepy, kooky characters by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

The original Broadway show opened in April 2010 and ran until December 2011 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater. During the show's run, it earned two Tony award nominations such as Best Original Score.

Tickets will sell out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to catch “The Addams Family” at the Bicknell Center.
