Of the total degrees to be awarded, 362 of them are graduate degrees which include master’s, education specialist, and doctorate of nursing practitioner degrees, while 756 of them are undergraduate level which include bachelor’s, associate, and certificate degrees.
Degree candidates represent 30 states and 20 countries.
Ceremony times and details are as follows:
4 p.m. - College of Business
6 p.m. - College of Arts and Sciences (Art, Communication, English and Modern Languages, Integrated Studies, Math and Physics, Music, General Studies, School of History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences
8 p.m. - College of Arts and Sciences (Biology and Chemistry, Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing)
An ROTC Commissioning ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at the PSU Veterans Memorial (rain location: Bicknell Family Center for the Arts in the Dotty and Bill Miller Theater).
A Nursing pinning ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts in the Linda and Lee Scott Performance Hall.
9 a.m. - College of Technology (Schools of Automotive & Engineering Technology and Construction
11 a.m. College of Technology (School of Technology & Workforce Learning)
1 p.m. College of Education (Department of Teaching & Leadership)
3 p.m. College of Education (Department of Health, Human Performance & Recreation; Psychology & Counseling)
Each ceremony includes both undergraduate and graduate degree candidates.
All graduates and guests are to check-in at the Robert W. Plaster Center, 1701 S. Homer, 15 minutes prior to each ceremony. Graduates and ticketed guests will start in the Plaster Center and then proceed to John Lance Arena. Non-ticketed guests will be directed to the arena upon check-in.
