Volunteers in groups of four will disperse across eight zones in the city to collect bulky items, load them in dump trucks, and help unload the dump trucks at dump sites at the YMCA and Tyler Research Center at PSU.
“I think we all know the importance of keeping our community clean and presentable to visitors, as well as residents,” said organizer Craig Fuchs, director of the PSU Honors College. “This day is all about collaborating with the city, our students, and each other to help make Pittsburg look like a town we can be proud of.”
Fuchs is actively seeking participants from across campus, including student organizations, employees, and athletes, to help.
