About the Foundation
Founded in 1985, the mission of the Pittsburg State University Foundation, Inc. is to maximize private gift support for Pittsburg State University, exercise proper management of Foundation assets, lay the groundwork for future fundraising success in support of the university's teaching, research, and service/civic engagement functions, and to develop and maintain positive relationships throughout the institution's broad range of constituencies.

The Presidents Society
The Pittsburg State University Foundation Presidents Society giving levels recognize committed alumni, faculty and staff, parents, companies, foundations, and friends of the University who play a critical role in the future of Pittsburg State University. We welcome all gifts - no matter the size - that support Pitt State. Active members of the Presidents Society are donors who have made at least $5,000 in donations to the University through the PSU Foundation during the fiscal year.
The Presidents Society giving levels are:
- Pillar ($10 Million +)
- Brandenburg ($1 Million +)
- University Founder ($500,000 +)
- University Benefactor ($250,000 +)
- University Patron ($100,000 +)
- University Fellow ($50,000 +)
- University Ambassador ($25,000 +)
- Junior Presidents Society (Alumni within 10 years of graduation, who make donations of $1,000 or more in the fiscal year)
Donors of $500 or more within the fiscal year are recognized at an annual Foundation Luncheon
Heritage Society members are donors who have made arrangements for an estate gift or other planned gift. Learn more about the Heritage Society here.
