Amber Tankersley


About Dr. Amber Tankersley

My professional interests are in the areas of early childhood curriculum. I truly enjoy working with young children and sharing in the responsibility of their early care and education. I have worked with preschool age children and have been a director of preschool aged programs. Through working with undergraduate child development majors, I am able to share my experiences to help insure a fresh supply of excited child development professionals.

Dr. Tankersley was a 2015 recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Awards for the College of Arts and Sciences. She was the 2017 recipient of the Excellence in Advising Award for the College of Arts & Sciences. Dr. Tankersley is designated as a Master Advisor at Pittsburg State University.
