Construction Alumni Association

The Pittsburg State University Construction Alumni Association, founded in 1988, supports School of Construction students by providing scholarships, fostering industry relationships, and promoting alumni networking. With over 900 scholarships awarded, totaling more than $865,000, membership is automatic upon graduation.

Golf tournaments, clay shoots, and other events

The net proceeds from our tournaments and events directly support scholarships for Pittsburg State University School of Construction students and enhance vital programs within the School of Construction.

Your donations are tax-deductible, minus the fair market value of goods and services received, such as food, beverages, gifts, green fees, and golf cart rentals. Receipts will be provided for your records. Please note that participants winning cash or cash-equivalent prizes (like gift cards or certificates) must complete an IRS Form W-9 at the event. Those winning merchandise or awards valued over $150 will also need to complete a W-9 form at the event.

Founded in 1988, the Pittsburg State University Construction Alumni Association goals are to:

  • Provide scholarships for deserving Pittsburg State University Construction Students
  • Provide other support to the Pittsburg State University School of Construction programs in general
  • Promote relationships between the Construction Industry and the Pittsburg State University School of Construction
  • Facilitate networking among Pitt State construction program graduates

All graduates of the School of Construction programs become members upon graduation; there are no dues. Since the creation of the association, 900 scholarships totaling over $865,000 have been awarded.
