Pentasectional Meeting

The Organizing Committee of the American Chemical Society Pentasectional Meeting has decided to cancel the upcoming meeting scheduled to be held on April 18, 2020 in Pittsburg, Kansas. We based our decision on the following statement by the ACS in cancelling the National meeting in Philadelphia:

"Safety is the core value of the American Chemical Society and as such the health and well-being of our members and community are paramount."

Any advance registration will be refunded in full. All submitted abstracts will be destroyed and considered withdrawn.

Oral Presentations

Abstracts for the oral presentations will be accepted in the following areas:

• Analytical
• Chemical Education
• Energy and Environmental
• Inorganic/Organometallic/Catalysis
• Organic/Biochemistry/Nanotechnology/Polymer
• Physical/Computational

Poster Presentations

A general poster session accepting submissions from all fields of chemistry will be held. There will be a special poster session for high school students in all the above mentioned areas.

Abstracts for Oral/Poster Presentations

The standard ACS form will be accepted as an electronic copy. An ACS abstract template is attached or enclosed.

Abstracts are due by March 09, 2020, and should be sent to the program chair.

Preregistration deadline is March 15, 2020 PRE-REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!

Abstract and registration submission has been suspended pending the decision of the organising committee with the regards to the current Covid19 situation.
