Workshop Description:

Teachers will learn to use the free project management toolbox available at and then also develop project management activities using Gantt charts or Trello charts.  These are used in business and industry to manage projects while developing time management skills; and while utilizing these tools to develop English 11 or otherwise/project management activities to take back to use in blended classrooms.

Blended English 11/Project Management course delivery plan will be given to workshop participants.  Project Management and Resource Scheduling is an application level CTE course for 12 different pathways (4 of which now have cluster specific project management offerings for 18-19).

Ms. Clelia McCrory began supporting school districts across Kansas through her position at ESSDACK in 2004 after doing certified teaching in K-12 classrooms at various grade levels and subjects/content areas for 25 years.

When Kansas began promoting “college and career readiness”, McCrory sought research-based instructional strategies/approaches that would address various aspects of college and career readiness.  Since “time management is the number one reason why students don’t make it their first year of college”, she sought and found inexpensive project management tools through PMIEF to address both time management and project planning skills.

Ms. McCrory has educational background in the areas of elementary education, special education, FACS, English, math, and science along with a keen interest in career-connected learning and industry-recognized certifications
