Presented By: PSU Music Department

Location: McCray Hall

Event details

The Hispanic Heritage Celebration Concert, curated by Associate Professor of Music Dr. Raúl Munguía, will highlight the richness and diversity of classical and traditional repertoire written by Latin-American composers.

The performance will shine a spotlight on a group of composers and their repertoire that has been under-represented or even unheard, while also presenting some of the much more established and well-loved works. It will feature faculty, students, and community members.

The concert will take place in McCray Hall and will be followed by the "Fiesta Latina Block Party," which will include more music, dancing, and food tasting provided by local restaurants in collaboration with the Hispanics Of Today student organization.

The concert is free and open to everyone! For more information, please contact Dr. Raúl Munguía at rmunguia@pittstate.edu or 4472.
