New international students are required to attend the three-day New International Student Orientation on Wednesday, January 15 to Friday, January 17. Students should check in at 8:00 a.m. to the Crimson and Gold Ballroom located on the second floor of the Overman Student Center. Students will receive a complete orientation schedule at check in.
Students should bring their passport and I20 or DS2019 with them.
This orientation program is mandatory for all new international students.
Free airport pick up is available for new international students from the Joplin Regional Airport on January 12-14. Shuttle Reservation Form
New international students are permitted to check into their dorm rooms starting on January 13. There is an $18 per night early check-in fee. Students should pick up their room keys from the Housing Office, 209 Horace Mann, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
