In a letter this week to hundreds of Pittsburg State University alumni living in Missouri, PSU’s director of alumni and constituent relations wrote that the university was disappointed in legislative action that will prevent PSU alumni in that state from purchasing specialty license plates that bear the university’s iconic mascot logo.

The decades-old dream of a new arts center on the Pittsburg State University campus took a giant leap forward on Nov. 30 with the announcement by university officials that the contract for the construction of the facility has been awarded to Crossland Construction Co.
Holiday concerts continue a 44-year tradition

Pittsburg State University will continue a 44-year-old holiday tradition on Dec. 5 and 7 when it presents the Timmons Chapel Christmas Concerts. The annual performances are both a gift to the community from faculty and students and also a tribute to the benefactor who made it all possible.
