Students at Pittsburg State University will host a small ceremony to reflect on the loss of nearly 200 lives during recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.
The Indian Student Association and the Office of International Programs and Services will hold a time of remembrance for the victims of the attacks at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, on the Oval of the PSU campus. There will be a statement from the Indian Student Association and a moment of silence, followed by comments from members of the PSU community.
On Nov. 26, hundreds of Indian citizens and foreigners were injured or killed in a wave of coordinated terrorist attacks, in which extremists attacked a number of high-profile targets in Mumbai.
The Indian Student Association has requested that community members attend the event to show their support for those hurting here and abroad.
