Second City comedy tour comes to Pittsburg

The Second City, training ground for some of the biggest names in comedy, will bring its Laugh Out Loud tour to Pittsburg at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The performance, sponsored by the Pittsburg State University Performing Arts and Lecture Series, takes place in Memorial Auditorium at 5th and Pine streets.
Chicago's legendary sketch comedy theater, The Second City is known for launching the careers of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and others. The theater was founded in 1959 and today has grown into a diversified entertainment company that tours across North America and abroad.
Tickets for the performance are $10 for the general public and $7 for PSU faculty and staff and persons 65 and over or 17 and under. PSU students are admitted free. All seating on the main floor is reserved while balcony seats are general admission.
