Every strong organization has a plan for its future. In fact, without a strategic plan, universities limit their potential and their opportunities to be successful over time. That’s why at Pittsburg State University, we’ve put careful consideration into the development of our Strategic Plan, which will guide the university in its goals and initiatives through the next four years.
Adopted in 2007 and reaffirmed in 2010, Pittsburg State’s Strategic Plan has become the roadmap for our university, addressing everything from the future of academics to which goals take top priority.
The PSU Strategic Plan consists of six main goals - including enhancing learner success; discovery and research; engagement and interaction with external stakeholders; embracing emerging technologies; obtaining necessary resources for the future; and institutionalizing the concepts and practices of environmental sustainability.
With our goals for the future in focus, our visionary strategic plan is not only improving our campus, but also the lives and educations of our students.
