NOTE: These codes do not apply to employees on leave without pay or faculty. Faculty will be paid their regular salary regardless of the impact of the declaration on their classes. Faculty should, however, report the use of sick leave if taken and reportable for the day(s) of the Inclement Weather declaration.
These codes provide pay for hours not worked during an employee's regular work schedule as designated by the time frame set by the University President in the Declaration of Inclement Weather.
These codes provide comp time for essential employees. The supervisor designates which employees are essential for purposes of the Inclement Weather Policy. Comp time is earned (hour per hour) for time worked during the period of Inclement Weather as declared by the President.
Non-exempt, essential employees may also be eligible for overtime compensation (OTP - pay or CME - comp time) if hours worked exceed 40 per week.
Non-exempt and exempt employees will use the code ICT to use Inclement Weather comp time. Non-exempt employees use the ICT code in 15 minute increments. Exempt employee use the ICT code in half-day or full-day increments only.
